Student Loan Consolidation Repayment Options

Financial Aid offers three different student loan repayments plans from which you can choose. The repayment term is a maximum of 10 to 30 years, depending on the amount of your student loan debt.

  1. Level Repayment Plan - This plan provides equal monthly payments to the principal and interest over the term of the loan.

  2. Graduated Plan B - This plan allows for interest-only payments for the first one-third of the repayment period. Level monthly payments are required for the remaining two-thirds of the repayment period.

  3. Graduated Plan C1 - For the first quarter of the student loan repayment period, you pay only interest. For the second quarter, you pay level monthly payments (on the balance) which are calculated over the original maximum payment period allowed. For the last half of the repayment period, level payments are recalculated, enabling you to pay off the remainder of the consolidation loan.
